When reporting a problem, include your iPhone or iPad model, iOS or iPadOS version, the app version, and the steps that led to the problem. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.
Playing & tuning
Why does the note sound different from its name?
Transposing instruments use written notes that sound at a different pitch. For example, a written C on B-flat trumpet sounds B-flat. Piano Transpose uses the selected instrument’s normal tuning automatically, so you can play straight from its written part. Choose concert pitch or another tuning in Settings when needed.
How do I use two keyboards on iPad?
Open Settings and enable Two keyboards. Each keyboard can have its own instrument, tuning and volume. Key size and note-label settings apply to both keyboards. iPhone uses a single keyboard.
How do I reach higher or lower notes?
Drag the highlighted area in the miniature keyboard above the keys, or tap another part of that overview. The available range follows the selected instrument.
Can the app read or import sheet music?
No. You read your sheet music and tap the keys yourself. The app helps you hear the notes at the instrument’s correct pitch; it does not scan, recognize or import scores.
Sound & everyday use
I can’t hear the instrument.
Check your device’s media volume and, on iPad, each keyboard’s volume. Check whether audio is going to headphones, Bluetooth speakers or another output. If sound doesn’t return after a call or interruption, reopen the app. Contact support if the problem persists.
Why is there a delay with Bluetooth headphones?
Bluetooth audio can introduce a noticeable delay between touching a key and hearing it. For a more immediate response, try the device’s speakers or wired audio.
Do I need an internet connection or an account?
No. All 55 instrument sounds are included in the app and work offline. There is no sign-in, advertising or additional sound-pack purchase.
Where can I find the sound credits and licences?
Open Settings, then About and sound licences. The app includes credits and the original notices for its instrument recordings and software components.
